Summary

RecoverMD is a local-first educational wellness app for hip and knee replacement recovery support. It does not provide medical care and does not upload your health information to our servers in version 1.

Information stored on your device

Depending on how you use the app, RecoverMD may store on your device:

• Procedure type, surgical side, surgery date, optional surgeon name
• Exercise completion and daily check-in entries you enter
• Purchase / trial unlock state via Apple

This information stays on your device unless you choose to share something yourself (for example through iOS share sheets).

Information we do not collect (v1)

We do not operate a RecoverMD account system in v1. We do not intentionally collect, transmit, or sell personal health information to our own backend.

Apple purchases

Purchases and trials are processed by Apple. Apple’s privacy policy applies to payment data.

Health content

App content is for education and wellness support only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or replace your surgeon or physical therapist.

Children’s privacy

RecoverMD is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
